Last update stopped chaff from disrupting NPC security scans, look out going into stations you are not welcome.

I don't think they were specific, but it was mentioned a few days ago by one of the devs that chaff was a bit too good, and would be scaled down. Do you have evidence that it doesn't do anything? Keep in mind that all these tactics are meant to make scans and locking on harder, not impossible. Just because you had a scan that went through doesn't mean it doesn't work AT ALL, just that maybe what you're used to is different.

It worked on NPC's til update...it did make smuggling/entering stations you are wanted in way too easy though.

Yes, flew in as usual and left a couple million poorer after paying them their bounties and fines!

Thought it was a fluke at first, but tested it a couple times in Lave.

Now just need someone to test player scans, see if they are on the same page.

I'll just stick with my silent running technique. Cost less anyway to use. And litters the station area less.
