Silent Running Activation Issue

Greetings CMDRs,

I seem to be having an issue activating Silent Running. Currently running a Logitech X52 Pro and Silent Running is bound to one of the switches on the stick base (T6 to be exact). This bind is working perfectly with no problems. Silent Running is also bound to the "E" key on my keyboard, it is this binding that is not working. I have attempted to make the "E" key the primary binding and T6 the secondary but that didn't work.

Similarly, I have my ship lights bound to my stick base and keyboard as well and both of these binds are working with no problems. This seems to be isolated to Silent Running.

I do not seem to be having any other binding/activation issues.

Is there an issue that I am not aware of ?

Check that the "E" key is not bound to another function in addition to Silent Running. Sometimes you will be warned of a conflict, sometimes not - It's worth going through everything looking for anything else bound to "E"

Also some third party Elite tools use they keyboard E key and/or shift/alt/ctrl combos. Might be worth checking if any of these has it?

Thanks for the input all.

So it was really weird, I was testing the silent running binds while docked in a station. While docked the switch on the stick base was working but the keyboard binding was not.

In space they both work with no problems.

Oh well, at least they both work when they need to.
