Silent Running: every time I toggle it on I ...

hold my breath.
Why is that?
I only do this when sneaking in to a station. Must be guilty conscience me thinks. I'm not a great smuggler or criminal - don't like it either.
I nearly do the same thing when the canopy gets blown. I get a bit panicky then so I hyperventilate.
It's NOT funny!
Gotta laugh at myself though.:D
Any of you have, well, quirky behaviours?

I am exactly the same when I try to sneak in late from the pub

I duck a little when flying through the letterbox in a big ship.
I also turn on the lights when approaching planets from the dark side...

When docking, I raise my palms off the desk as I maneuver thrusters...looks like I'm doing some kind of finger puppet show.

When flying a big ship, I usually congratulate myself on flawless landings. *wife rolls eyes*

And, just before my ship is released for launch, I often knock my desk twice...not for any superstition, it just feels right.

I hold my breath when my canopy is destroyed. I think my brain literally tries to save oxygen. I start breathing normally online when I am docked. I feel very very very stupid each time, but it is also funny.
Next step: building an air-proof cabin preventing oxygen from coming in when canopy is destroyed :D

Naturally, Silent Running requires absolute silence.

Anyone making the slightest bit of noise in the same room as me gets a stern "Sshh!"ing.
