Silly question

Ok, i am in the station menu. Options are request docking and lock target. How do i go back without choosing anything?

I dont get it, go back where? Also, what "station menu"? We can help you, but you need to be more specific. If you want to circle between the ships panel menus, its "q" and "e" as default.

Press the back button/cancel button whatever you assigned that too. I think pressing the left panel button again closes it too.

what is the cancel button? I know i can use tab but that moves me to other tab.

Whatever button you pressed to bring up the panel, press it again. Or if you're using TrackIR, just look away from the panel.

Its the same button you press to open the left tab.

No, that takes you back to forward view. What i mean is how do i cancel the submeny request docking without choosing anything. Just to go back one step.

What I do is just press the ui focus button and that seems to back out without choosing one of the things.
