Silly questions.

1) If you come across someones else's unoccupied SRV, can you nick it?
If you're in the same wing with them. But it'll explode when it gets more than 30 klicks away from the mothership😉
2) If you DSS an Earth-like world, does it kill anybody?
Maybe, possibly, but unlikely. It may also start a new religion, doomsday cult or mass panic (or all of the above) among the locals. Compare to the Firefall event in Peter Watts' Blindsight which is when aliens DSS-d Earth.

Silly Answers:

1. No, but you can strip it for parts and sell them at a Black Market. Though profits are guaranteed to disappoint.

2. No deaths should occur. However, all planetary residents will suffer headaches and/or nausea on a level roughly equivalent to ‘mildly miffed’ when measured on the famous Max Pique scale of discontent.

It becomes yours, when you have completed a circumnavigation of the planet (See Abandonment of property by circumnavigation Act).

Marco Qwent will soon release a „Self-destruct on atmospheric entry“ mod. But only up to Grade 4.

Self-destruct the DSS probe? Or the ship? Does G4 means that one sizeable chunk will remain intact and possibly makes some misfortunate surface dweller's day a little worse?

I hope he means the probe and not the ship. And yes, because with Marco you always have to remember that he doesn't finalise things… Maybe one of the geniuses in Colonia will bring the mod to G5.
