Hardware & Technical simpit sensation

No f35 module for DCS. So that would be pointless.

I'm suspecting he's instead running https://www.prepar3d.com

Could set you back as much as $2300 just for the software though.

And other some tricky licensing.
In short educational or professional use only.

No entertainment use ever.

My son has a full size A10-C replica cockpit; ejector seat included, sitting in the garage. He's been building panels from old Tornado and Phantom mechanical switches and machining back-lit acrylic cover plates and new circuitry. 6 Months ago he managed to source a real A10-B throttle. He's refurbished it and redesigned an extended throttle handle arrangement to incorporate the A10-C modifications.

Years ago I wrote some software that captured switch changes and was able to do input/output to LED displays. It all integrated through the LUA scripting engine of DCS World and could run any of the simulators including MS FSX.

He's now heading off to Uni to study Mechanical Engineering and Aeronautics.

Would be great if ED could be integrated through something like LUA...
