Simple iPad app for jotting down the prices of goods?

Hi. I'm interested if anyone knows of either an Elite specific app or a more general one which could replace the pen/paper system of jotting down prices for various goods between systems?

I'm not interested in profit calculators, or more complex apps which 'do the work' for you.

I'm interested in something more than just a notepad. Something which can help me to order things a little and is generally set up for the task I'm trying to perform.

My experience with 'productivity genre' iPad apps is very limited- I'm wondering what you guys might recommend? Anyone using a digital means of recording prices which isn't too unwieldy, just basically gets the job done? I've tried the pen/paper approach and end up making a huge mess all over the place, trying to get the info down fast... I look over my numbers again and half the time they're illegible. :p

Cheers, :)

If you want to do it manually then you probably want to ditch the ipad, typing on a screen isn't particularly efficient. Perhaps use a laptop with a spreadsheet.

Thanks for the suggestions guys.

I've ended up using Google Drive on the home computer to create the basic template, then downloaded the Google Drive app for iPad, then another Google app called 'sheets' to allow editing of the spreadsheet. I guess I'm all set up to go.

If you'd like the template (there will probably be a few market items missing atm) you can download from here,

(edit: this one is a bit out of date. A newer version will be available shortly, with more commodities, a template for each system, and a simple calculator)
