Engineers Simple question : can cargo scanners and kill warrant scanners generate usable data?

Hello!

In my search for additional data to offer our Mighty Engineer Overlords, I was wondering if additional data could be scanned off of a ship by using a KWS or a Cargo scanner.

Do Kill Warrant Scanners and Cargo Scanners have a chance of giving engineer data?

So far, my attempts at getting anything haven't worked, but my standard ship scans aren't going much better, either. Cursed luck...

Anyway, thanks for the eventual help!

Yep. But wake scanners were mentioned very often by the devs, whereas we had no info about the other scanners.

Which is strange... IMHO, they should've added something for other scanners as well, as they could uncover different anomalies.

I guess to cut down on all the equipment needed to find stuff. Too much and there would be more QQing going on about how they need to have x,y, and z to be viable for engineers.
