RCT 3 PC Simple Question

I just bought Rollercoaster Tycoon 3 Gold and was wondering if it needed a cd code cause it showed no signs of having a cd code, i know the original Rollercoaster Tycoon 3 needed one and was wondering if it was the same with this. Also if it does how many digits is the cd code cause i think i found it. ( Also i can't try it to see if it needs one because i don't get my computer until Christmas) Thanks.

The code is 6 x 4 and a mix of random letters and numbers.

I think i found the code but it is 12 digits long and is right next to the barcode number on the disc sleeve is that it?

See what the installer asks of you, please do not discuss cd keys here, its a sensitive subject, well, as long as you dont try and get someone elses!

Don't know if Gold is the same or not, but on my copy of RCT3 standard its a 12-digit code in the behind the CD holder in the case.
