simple square Walls or straight Paths ?

hey@all,
could it be that i am blind, but i cant find a checkbox or something,
to make simple Square/Rectangular Walls for Enclosures (in 90° Corners).

On Top: in Front of these "Boxes", there should be straight-lined Pathes...

Where i can do this stuff?
Because it would it make much easier to Build some/many Habitats.

You can only place habitat walls wall by wall. However, when you want 90° corners, you can set angle snap (right side, when you chose a barrier) to 90°. That should work.

Pathes work the same. In addition, you can align pathes to grid by selecting the option before laying a path and choose a building from which the grid should be taken from.

Oh no :-(

can i lay pathes to the grid and allign the walls to it?
then i will get kinda good squared boxes later...

If you want the fences and paths to align 100% it's probably better to place the barriers first and the align the paths, since we don't have an "align to path" option for the fences for whatever reason, only an "align to barrier" option for paths.

If you want perfect squares I'd go as follow:

1. Place a wall. Any wall will work. Not a barrier, a wall.
2. Go to path. select "align to grid. Select the wall to get the grid from it.
3. Lay your path.
4. If ready, select the wall again. Click "edit group". Add other walls until you have your habitat planned out.
5. Select null barrier. Let it move along the walls.
6. delete walls.
7. Edit barrier, mark all, change it to the barriers you want to use.

It seems more complicated than it is, really. :) Just needs a little practice.
And while your creative process is your own and you can do whatever you want, keep in mind, that habitats in real life zoos aren't 90 degrees squares most of the time. So the flexibility of the habitats is kind of realistic.
