I was wondering why planet coaster has all the micromanaging features of a good strategy game but fails to deliver any meaningful strategy that many of us wish for.
Most of us set individual ride prices because setting an entrance fee gives a cash influx initially but the money dries up when the guests don't leave. Being able to run a park on entrance fee alone would really add to the realism and this could be achieved by setting a time limit to guests being in the park. Could we not have it so that when park entry is set, the guests only stay for x day cycles before leaving and so replenishing funds with new and eager guests. Doing this would highlight the importance of extra services like hotels and restaurants and allow for loss leading rides as would be the case in the real world.
This would seem to me like a simple solution for improving the strategy of the game?
