If you have an NVIDA card, try ShadowPlay. It's awesome and it's how I've captured video of my sessions.

Then you would need some sort of video editing software. There are several programs to do this. Most cost money (like Adobe Premiere Pro or Sony Vegas) but I think there are some free alternatives on the internet. And how can I add written comments in a video, like I saw on many ED videos already?
FRAPS has been mentioned already but there are other programs also that are free if you don't want to pay for FRAPS.
I'm sure there are other program as well that I have't mentioned above. I am also positive that you can find video tutorials on Youtube on how to setup and use any of the softwares I've mentioned above.
- MSI Afterburner - It is a program to change settings on your videocard like overclock etc but don't bother with any of that unless you know what you are doing. I use it just to record game footage. You also don't need to have an MSI product or videocard. It should work with any videocard. You can see instructions here: http://event.msi.com/vga/afterburner/predator.htm
- DXTory - I haven't tried this program myself but I've heard other people say that it is good.
- OBS - Open Broadcaster Software - This software can be used to both record game play and also broadcast to video streaming sites such as Twitch.tv.
Just be sure you have enough free space on your hard drive since video files have a tendancy to fill it up very fast depending on how much the video is compressed.

Use OBS (Open Broadcast Software) it's completely free and will record game sounds and microphone at various resolutions. You'll want to record at 1080 or 720 for posting to YouTube.
Download it here:

I wouldn't bother with Fraps or DXtory, though while good, they won't record your microphone at the same time.
Setting up to record is extremely simple and you may enjoy what you are doing so much you may want to stream it on Twitch.
Editing wise you can check out Lightworks at:

It's also free.
