Having a place to test and get used to ships "that we own" without having to pay vast amounts of credits for insurance if we destroy them would be very helpful. In real life pilot training there are simulators for different airplanes so that pilots can get used to something without destroying expensive air craft.

Could get unlocked as training modules like the tutorials are upon achieving certain pilot federation rankings. I think that would be awesome.
