since the last patch yields are down in pristine rings, what gives?

I used to mine before the last patch and stopped for a bit whilst I did bounty hunting and exploration, i'm so close to buying a new ship and decided to mine for enough to cover mods and insurance.
Now no matter how much i've changed places, logged off and back on, mined in pristine rings 1000 LY from civilization, the yields have steadily been getting worse, in Bhotho it's pristine rings, used to get 50% palladium and other high ends now I feel lucky if I get 15% on high ends, and it doesn't matter if i'm out 1000 LY from civilization the yields don't improve, I know how to mine and search for the right stuff but nothing will improve the yields, i'm down to under 10% yields and now 3 % is common for me on high ends, gallite even yields at 35% or less with a rare occurrence of 50% but only on gallite, anybody else this happening too?

I only tried a pristine Metallic recently and was disappointed with the results but no idea whether the yields are down compared to previous. Plan to go back after 1.3 and see if the improvements make mining more practical.

Unless they make a tractor beam (to increase the speed of mining), and a way to find out quickly what is in roids around you, I think it's just a waste of time because I don't go to work just to come home log on and go to work, it's a game for Christ sake.

Pristine metallic, moved around, turned upside down, did the uggie boogie and still nothing, they nerf the hell out of mining.
