Since we have fleet carriers and bases, can we have megaships and Jaques Station like mobile stations to round things out?

Just a random thought but- since we can build bases and rent fleet carriers, why not open it out to everything else we have had in ED?

For example: megaships- these could be the space going equivalent of installations that are built like FCs but act as passive income generators as they fly about (maybe have Gnosis like waypoints)? The limitation being they cannot hold ships and are for commerce. Since there are so many designs each one could act as some sort of player driven in system BGS / PP2 buff (which can also be attacked too). In this way, players / guilds (or whatever VG is) could control fleets of large non pilotable ships that can help systems.

Jaques Station- these are the top level thing to own- better than an FC and able to jump far further in one go. The downside being the cost to build and a proper Vanguard level asset.

I had another thought, something possibly unfeasible, because of how miserable it would make things, but funny nevertheless (to me).

The introduction of temporary megaship class FSD drives that can be attached to an outpost to hijack it and move it to a different system. This as part of BGS/PP mechanics: basically, stealing small stations.

The Ocellus stations are supposed to have hyperdrive capability but not sure if the one's we're allowed to build have it.

Yes, this. Very expensive and slower than FCs (maybe one jump per day) but it goes far, far further.

And you could make one shot versions as well, where you launch a 'seed' for your colonisation.

The other ship we could have as passive miners are dredgers that generate materials.
