If you're ever around Siren and think you'll take a quick peek to see what's going on there - don't bother.
It's the Boston of the galaxy (that's Boston, the original, in Lincolnshire, not some phoney copy) - i.e. there's naff-all going on, nothing to do and full of skinflints. It's an agri hi-pop yokelville.
F'rinstance, at the main starport - Brash Dock. Nothing worth buying and nothing worth any decent credits imported. Only a crappy few 'upgrades' - the usual stuff you get anywhere - and not a single item on the bulletin board. Mind you, if you desparately need algae or fruit & veg - Brash is your corner shop!
Take my advice - keep on truckin' right through!
