Sirius Corporation BGS

Good afternoon! I would like to know if it is possible to win in BGS from The sirius corporation faction ?

The only "blocked factions" where the current ruling faction is locked in to being the ruling faction are:
  • The three Superpower capital systems (Sol, Alioth, Achenar).
  • Colonia proper (Jaques) and a couple of nearby systems in Colonia.
  • Prison systems (the ones where you get sent to clear bounties, not the ones with "prison colony" governments).
  • Pilots Federation (Newbie space and Shin Dez).

Everywhere else is fair game - including Sirius and every system where Sirius Corp is present.

Just be aware that, because of the permit they control being one of the most desirable permits to obtain, it means that there's an awful lot of players doing work to (a) gain reputation with them and (b) gain the permit. (a) can happen anywhere where Sirius Corp is present; (b) can only happen within 15 LY of Sirius. But either way, pushing against Sirius is going to be an uphill struggle, with all those other players pushing back.

I'd add Facece to that list, just because of this: https://community.elitedangerous.com/galnet/uid/569f79f29657ba176961ba04 which resulted in FD forcing a war which, ultimately, saw it back in the hands of the Empire. Whether players could've changed the outcome or not is not known.

Doesn't appear to actually be locked, though - there's a Civil War going on right now over some planetary bases. The permit on it will be discouraging inbound expansions, of course, but the system isn't locked. (And with Facece Empire Party owning all the decent stations in a 10 billion population system, barely needs to be)

Frontier have got less interventionist since then, so maybe if it happened again today they'd let them keep it.
