The idea of an expansion pack focusing on Site B has always intrigued me, so I will do my best to try and come up with a new dlc which explores site B further.
Story
The story will be split into two halves. The first half focuses on Dr Wu returning to Sorna after hurricane clarissa to take part in the amalgam testing, as he creates several illegal species, including the spinosaurus. These dinosaurs are then released into the wild, to test their effects on the island's ecosystem. However this experiment has disastrous results, and the ecosytem of Isla Sorna is put into jeopardy.
The second half sees the return of Sarah Harding, Roland Tembo and Ian Malcom, as they attempt to replenish the ecosytem of Sorna after Wu's experiment. The final mission of the campaign will be a showdown with the spinosaurus, involving a rematch with the trex.
(This expansion is in no way canon to the Jurassic franchise, similar to the Return to Jurassic Park dlc in jwe1. The story isn't perfect and some of you may have other ideas of how the campaign will play out.)
New species
-Microceratus - Had an estimated population of 22 on Sorna in 1993 and is the only movie dinosaur to not appear in the game
-Ornitholestes - Appeared in the Lost World novel however only as a corpse
-Mussaurus - Also appeared in the Lost World novel as the first dino Richard Levine encounters when arriving at Sorna
-Hadrosaurus - Appeared on Roland's dino guide however it's unknown if there were any populations on Sorna
Skins/Variants
-Pteranodon 1997 skin - The free update should also come with new skins for the classic pteranodon model
-Mamenchisaurus 1997 variant - While not a necessary inclusion, the mamenchisaurus in The Lost World does have a slightly different model to jwe2
-Camouflaging carnotaurus skin - A refrence to the Lost World novel carnotaurus
(The accompanying free update could also come with more skin options for the 2001 brachiosaurus and ankylosaurus)
Building/Decorations
The expansion would most likely use the jp era, however Frontier could go a step further and incorporate a new era inspired by architecture found in the worker village and facility in jp3. If necessary, the era would be supplemented by jp buildings in sandbox mode, similar to the biosyn era using dfw buildings. This expansion would come with a wide range of new decorations, including:
-Destroyed vehicles (including a destroyed plane and trailer)
-Edmontosaurus skeleton
-Trex/Raptor nest
-Worker village gate
-Other miscellaneous facility decoration (e.g. oil barrels, damaged crates etc)
-Gas station? (found at worker village)
Another feature that could work for this expansion is a dirt path, which would fit the very rugged theme that Sorna has and allow for more natural pathways to be created.
Finally, a new attraction that should be added would be the high hide from the Lost World, allowing guests for a hidden view upon the dinosaurs from the treetops.
Maps
The first part of the campaign will take place on a tropical map, similar to jp3. To make the map unique, it could come with a recreation of the jp3 aviary, including the metal walkways and stone structure, that will be usable, similar to how the French map in the Malta expansion comes with a natural lagoon (this feature may be controversial similar to the lagoon but it's a fun idea however the aviary needs to be able to be customised).
The second part of the campaign will take place in a new redwoods biome, and will come with a wide range of new placeable foliage (not reused from the taiga biome). In sandbox mode, these placeable foliage can be combined with other biomes for pc and next gen console players.
In conclusion, I believe this expansion could bring a lot of new enjoyment to the game and if Frontier decide to make this expansion (even if they don't use all my ideas), it would make a lot of people happy.
