Six new starports need a name

Have the commanders who had this thankless job trusted upon them, been contacted by FDev yet?

Do they need our help and inspiration?
Might I suggest the name "Scott Manly station"?
I know there's a typo, but the archives, it's been over a thousand years . . .
Besides, it's more manly without the e.

Fun fact, did you know there's a Bulgarian city named Manly, and a local knife manufacturer is cashing in on the name by making Manly knives?
You did? I'll got get my coat then.

1. yes.
2. no, at least not all of them.
3. yes, but i think it violates the rules: no obvious pop-culture reference. if scott manley is pop-culture between the stars.
4. well, there are a bunch of names being correctly reported since a thousand years, Caesar for exampel, or Leonard Nimoy, not sure what's up with your archivars.
5. tru that. some things are more without e.

4. Really?
You talked to an actual Roman and from that you got that Caesar name is still pronounced, and written, correctly?
I know for a fact that we have 2 (two) pronunciations atm: Zesar and Kaizer. So which did you check with that Roman? Was it a single Roman or did you contact a sizable sample?

5. Well there's the small matter of . . .
Wait, you don't know about ... Euh what's up with your archivars.

Is Scott Manley regarded as pop culture? If it was something like James T. Kirk, Luke Skywalker or Dave Lister I could understand the reservations.

Gee, this post made me get all registered and everything for the forums. Not the FSD delivery time.
Manly?
Most Australians know Manly. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Manly,_New_South_Wales

Manly was named by Captain Arthur Phillip for the Indigenous people living there, stating that "their confidence and manly behaviour made me give the name of Manly Cove to this place".[2] These men were of the Kay-ye-my clan (of the Guringai people).[3] While scouting for fresh water in the area, Phillip encountered members of the clan, and after a misunderstanding he was speared in the shoulder by one of the clan; the progressively-minded Phillip ordered his men not to retaliate.[4]

The Aboriginal men were feasting on a whale at Manly Cove...

I reckon going out in a tree bark canoe and bagging a whale is pretty brave... Still is brave just a male thing?

Not sure about Caesar... but most people understand the combined "ae" thing.
