Skin Petition

Lets be honest, the raptor skins are awful but they are better than one particular dinosaur *cough* Indoraptor *cough*. I mean at lease the raptor has different skin colors. Frontier didn't even try with the Indoraptor skins.

I have created a petition for better raptor skins. If enough people sign it then Frontier might listen. When you click the link you will automatically sign the petition so if you don't want to then don't click the link.

*edit* I added some new information in the "updates tab". It will help why the skins "suck"

Petitions aren't really very helpful when it comes to game development. We totally get that there are a number of players who want more Velociraptor and Indoraptor skins but a poll saying how many doesn't offer a lot to work with. There's no indication of what type of skins would be desired or exactly why the ones already in the game aren't what you are after. Saying something "Sucks" doesn't really give us any information we can use.

If you want to help our developers work on improving something a constructive forum thread detailing what doesn't work and what would work specifically is much more beneficial.

A white (Alpine?) Indoraptor would be awesome, visually distinctive from the current skins.

Thanks for the skin suggestions. Just to clarify, there are no current plans for a Blue skin in Jurassic World Evolution. Blue is a unique character to Jurassic World, with her own distinct look and we're working closely with Universal Studios plc to ensure Jurassic World stays to true to the Jurassic World franchise. As Blue the character is not in Jurassic World Evolution that skin is not planned to be available for any other raptor.

I can see where you're comming from, and if the higher-ups at Universal don't want the skin in-game...Well they still own the rights to the Jurassic franchise.
As for the ''unique character'' argument, well with all due respect but aren't the Indominus rex and the Indoraptor unique characters in the franchise aswell? Yet we are able to create those. Also, wouldn't it be possible to have a limit on the ''blue'' skin, say you can only have it active on one island at a time? That would still make it an unique character.

But i'm getting a bit off topic here, just in general more movie skins would be greatly appreciated.
I absolutely adore the Jurassic series, and would love to see JWE become the masterpiece it deserves to be, anyway thanks for all the hard work :)

The Indominus and Indoraptor aren't quite the same. Whilst only one of each feature in the films they themselves are representatives of the species. Blue on the other hand is a unique specimen of the Velociraptor species and is individually singled out as a character.

OK, the blue pack cant be made because are unique characters. But the velociraptors from JP, TLW and JPIII can be put changing the skins:
- Vivid: Jurassic Park Skin.
- Alpine: JP III Female.
- Coastel: JP III Male.
- Jungle or Arid: TLW Male.
And i think that this can be made in the future.
I know that the game is about jurassic world, but some dinosaurus have skins from the original trilogy, like spinosaurus, parasaurolophus, diliphosaurus, ceratosaurus...

Please really plan for adding Jurassic Park originals' skins in game !! <3
That's my all time wish we'd get more JP stuff, maybe even a JP classic DLC, but I just want the feeling of JP in JWE & enclosure/building customization! That'd be sooo great !

My wishlist is simple:

- LOST WORLD authentic skins (stripes & countershading etc...) for: Raptors & T-Rex

- JP3: Raptors
IF only we had pteranodon ;3

- Original Jurassic Park Visitor center skin for the Innovation center ! I can still dream x)

I can not understand it ... since the game's launch, people are always asking for new skins, mainly for the Raptors and nothing of them to be released!

It's so simple ... just work on movie-like skins. I've had enough of seeing these beautiful images of evanuss and steamblust. Why so much delay, what is the problem of the company to reveal that liked it and want to work on it?


I also do not understand how after so much time talking about skins Paul Crowther and team still do not know exactly what people want. I hope it's just acting ...

The only thing I read is always this story that Blue is a unique character and that there will be no skin of her in addition to the positioning of complete silence. The Frontier and its position of not revealing anything ends up only disappointing.

Soon the game is one year old and the only new thing is a boring DLC Hybrid (my opinion, of course).

So by the way sooner or later there will be the CHARACTER dinosaurs themselves, or there will simply never be such skins.

I find it odd that the Jurassic World line of the franchise has been beating the raptor usage to death from the start making them the focus of the movies yet either Frontier is just stubborn and does not want to give them better skins or Universal will not let them which is just stupid. Either way I would rather Frontier continue to work on making the game play better as they have been.

jungle: skin from the lost world (the one with the tiger stripes)
desert: the original jurassic park skin
rainforest: male skin from jurassic park 3
arid: female skin from jurassic park 3
vivid: one skin based of charlie, delta and echo from jurassic world

Thanks guys. It would be nice if we can get some of the ideas for the game
