Has anyone actually sat down and thought why we don't have the raptor skins and buck T-rex? I might have the simple answer. The tiger striped raptor and the black raptor (JP3) are male. The same goes for the buck t-rex. As we all know the dinosaurs in Jurassic World Evolution are all female so this could be why we are not getting the skins. But what about the female skins? If all the dinosaurs are female then we should at least get the female skins from the movies, right?

This is the female rex from the lost world so this could be added due to it being female.

This is the female raptor skin from JP3. This might not be added because the raptors seem to look a bit different in this movie. I couldn't find a female raptor skin from The Lost World however.

That would definitely explain it. But I wish there was more consistency with the skins. Some look really nice while others are bland, boring, uninspired and lazy. The Parasaurolophus skins are basically all the same except for a change in color. While the models all look good the skins are lacking. It's nice that we have some options I just wish they were better. JPOG had the problem where some Dinosaur models looked better than others. Like some people did a good job and others just did a sloppy rush job on their models. JWE doesn't have this problem. While none of the skins are bad some could be better.


Also that JP3 raptor skin is more than just a skin change. The eyes would need to be changed and so would the head. That's more than just a new skin and more like a small reworking of the model and I doubt Frontier would do that. That's most likely why you will never seen the JP3 raptor skin. Also I don't think they are allowed to put in a whole lot in the game that would have a connection to the first (and better) movie or any of the original 3 movies. Universal has moved on with JW. It's not JP anymore it's now JW. While I still hope we get the JP themed DLC with a visitor center I can see why we wouldn't.

That is what i meant by This might not be added because the raptors seem to look a bit different in this movie.
