The april update won't have new skins to unlock, it will change all the existing skins to unique colors and patterns instead of the layer of color that just gets laid down over the base pattern we have currently.

Just a theory.
I don't know, man, but the skins seem like one of the most rushed assets in the game. It seems like if they're going to be upgrading things that weren't perfect at launch, that'd be a good idea.
Some dinosaurs already have different patterns for some of their skins, why not expand that?

So many basic mechanics are missing from this game. Hope they sort that out first. Visually this game is already beautiful. We need more content.

Current theory based on bts image is that theres going to be something with skins in the update. Rather than new skins, i think this would be better.

As much as I would like the update to be about mechanics, it’s pointing towards skins. Excited for whatever comes to be.

Skins are pointless when all the dinos behave exactly the same in all situations.... Unless they are movie JP/LW/JP3/JW skins for the most popular dinos i dont want or need anymore skins. Most of the in game skins suck. Most sauropod skins dont even have color in them no matter what you pick. Until we have dinosaurs that act differently as if they're alive i dont think anybody is really worried about or hoping for free skins.

You're joking right? Literally the whole community wants free skins or wants them to be improved. Also explain to me how changing the skin would change the behaviour of the dinosaurs?

IT WON'T!!!!!!!!! That... Was my point. They should focus on improving the game and adding in new animations. Not more ugly unwanted skins.
