I'd love to be able to make my own skins but I'm pretty sure that's not gonna happen. Earnings from micro-transactions in the store is what's gonna enable FD to keep working on the game on the long term.

Unless... Unless ppl can submit skins to the store and make it community driven.

Not going to happen for the reasons above, and also - no-one's going to want to have to download everyone else's skins. Which is the only way we would see it.

Plus I can only imagine the gigantic amount of checking that would have to be carried out by Frontier to make sure not every idiot is creating big flying mamaries or ding-dongs or hateful messages..

Community-driven skin store with 50-75% of profit going to FD and 50-25% to the author would be sooo cool for everyone!

Please FD make it happen.
