Slave Missions?

When i do the missions, it asks me to take to places they are illegal at, how will i get in there without being scanned and getting my buns rolled into outer space?

Personally I prefer a fast ship - a Cobra is good as it goes over 400 at boost.
No need for silent running at that speed, I'll long be in the station before they complete any scan - as soon as you enter the station scans on you are cut off.
Last boost happens at about 6km out otherwise I risk hitting the rear of the station hehe

Also make a point to never go to Nav Beacons or stop at USS' in any lawful system while you're carrying illegal goods as they often contain police that will scan you.
If you must, scan all ships asap - any police around you boost away, don't wait for a scan to start.

Not sure it's worth risking in slower ships, the rep penalties for being caught are pretty big.

there are a bunch of various methods to use to get in without being scanned. If you search on youtube there are a couple guides on how to drop the heat signature so that you can sneak in easily. You can also just go in as fast as you can and turn on silent running at about 5 kilometers out. I personally do not use heat sinks and have no trouble getting in.

if you do manage to get stand at the gateway, simply drive in the station and the scan stops. If you are scanned from about 2 kilometers and further, abort, four pips to boosters and get the hell out!

Good luck commander.

Grats, it's fun when you succeed :D

Don't forget also, Imperial Slaves (not Slaves) are perfectly legal in the Empire, yet you will still see missions for both varieties for 40-50k for 2.
Imperial Slaves in that case carry no risk but still have the reward (about 20-30k profit per mission).
Sometimes you can even buy the Imperial Slaves in the very station that's offering the reward (although I assume that will be fixed eventually).

This used to happen A LOT. Though in the last couple of days since the server market tweaks, I've not seen it once. It was a good scam whilst it lasted :)
