Horizons [SLF] Crew and Impacts

Hello.

After initial "disappointment" with how much Crew takes % of profit be it active or no, I just didnt want them around.... I figured some of my errors and I will be training a new NPC Crew from scratch.
I just have few questions...

1. During CG:
Does the NPC profit count as your contribution to the goal? Bounty Hunting example...

2. Bounty Hunting:
Does the NPC profit count toward the rep gain of the controlling faction?

3. Trading
same as 2

And basically a lot of simillar questions but is it:

A: NPC just takes the profit and thats it. You get no benefit from those credits.
B: NPC takes the profit but it (CG case) counts so you get benefit (numbers atleast).

Also, any other insight and what you might have noticed with NPC Crew would be nice.

Thank you.

I don't know. I suspect A. I've not found the NPC crew feature to be useful, personally. On the rare occasion I use one, I fire them before turning anything in. Then they get nothing, which is all I'm willing to pay.

I had 3 at one time, was gonna train them all up, til I found out they get a cut even if not activated. So I fired 2 and have one at dangerous taking 9%, she's competent enough to take the mother ship when I wanna fly the fighter. I don't sweat the 50 mil she's already made from me, she is also handy for those long exploration trips, she brings me beer when I wanna fly drunk and she keeps the jacuzzi warm in the Beluga, haven't decided yet if I wanna put one in the Conda yet, like the jump range and a jacuzzi would add too much weight.

I'm not sure about trade, but they do get a cut of your bounties before they are added to the CG. Say they get 10% and you turn in 100,000 Cr of bounties. Your bank account goes up by 90 kCr, and your contribution to the CG does the same (assuming all your bounties counted in the first place).

They don't get a cut of your CG reward. If you get 8 million credits as a reward, you get all of that.

I know some business operators like you.:D

Simple economics here gentlemen... The NPC gets a cut of the payout and therefore subtractive of the total and neither counts to the total or takes away from the total... It's an operating cost. In other words, the CG or mission pays out "X" to you and the NPC is paid from that.
