SLF question

Hello commanders.

Can someone tell me please what happens when you crash your fighter while piloting it?
Do you respawn in your Mothership or do you loose everything and face rebuy costs?

I didn't have enough credits so far to buy a ship big enough to carry fighters but now I'm starting to think about it and am just curious.

Thanks

If your fighter blows up you will be returned to the mothership.

You are considered to be piloting your SLF via remote control.

This has been done that way for good reasons, one of them being that the SLF is a vulnerable vehicle (Glass-cannon) and no cmdr would take the risk to fly them themselves if that meant they might then also lose their mothership when the SLF gets destroyed.
FDev wanted us to feel free to have fun ourselves flying the SLFs.

SLFs are remote controlled essentially... your crew are never actually in it nor are you it's a holo presence.

The Keelback is a good ship use and learn the SLF. Very flexible vessel though it's formally typed as a combat merchant ship.
