SLF stuck on "maintain formation"

This is a new one for me. SLF no longer responds to commands. I can launch and recall, but the game defaults to "maintain formation" and there is nothing I can do about it.

Even if I try to pilot the SLF, hardpoints and I are locked (in formation).

Tried recalling. Rebooting the game. Nothing works.

Anyone seen this before, and have a suggestion?

FIX supplied by Kyle Stryker: ...remove the module in outfitting and reinstall it. Sounds crazy, but it worked for me once...

I haven't played legacy for a long time, nor have I deployed a SLF for some time, but FWIW last time I tried in Odyssey it worked.

This is a old problem that can be known to arise now and then. Pilot the SLF and check your weapon slots .You should find that all your weapons are turned off.
Turn them on and fire them then let your co pilot take over.
Sometimes the SLF goes into peace mode for some reason. It always happened to me in AX combat zones.

Thanks. Will try it when I log back in later today.

I just logged off after testing it again today, and the SLF is still borked, even in solo mode. Neither me or my crew can pilot the SLF beyond "maintain formation" with hardpoints offline.

Never seen or heard of this issue before, but your solution does sound plausible. And it worked for you, so why not me. :)

Hm. Interesting. Though in my case everything has been working flawlessly for years until yesterday. My internet connection is above average. And the SLF feature is broken, even in solo mode.

I'll be trying Kyle Strykers suggestion later today. Fingers crossed.
