Horizons Slow boat to Jacques...

Finally found enough Vanadium to repair my ship. And I have restarted the lonely trek out to Jacques

But I've found that it is very hard not to explore along the way.

Jump, scoop and honk, repeat, I just can't do it.

I can't resist at least scanning the main star and checking out the, "Goldilock's Zone," for Earth-likes.

At this rate, Jacques will have jumped to Beagle Point before I get there.

But, Oh!, what a galaxy!

You would be a very sad explorer, if you were able to withstand the blunt honk-jumping for long.

I left Zaonce around three weeks ago, still have 2.5KLY to go.
Maybe run into you there Commander

I'm in preparation to go out too and I know what you mean. Never could just scoop and jump, and I always have to look at the system map, its to tempting to not to take a look. And when I see something interessting on the Map... well, I gotta check it out!

I've also almost finished my preparations to leave for Jaque's in my Phyton... ~1,500 jumps to go with a cargo hold full of MA.

Is there a good method to withstand the need to scan interesting systems instead of doing 50 jumps per day?

When I was doing the Sag A* sprint, This was actually the worst part - To NOT open the system map once. When ever I felt an urge to open the map, I took a bite of pizza, instead.

It was nine hours of pure jumping. I haven't recovered from it enough, yet, to try again.

Nah, don't. It's dull and it gets tiresome really quickly.

Life is a never ending journey. So why not stop, once in a while and smell the flowers by the road.
