so everyone knows and loves the boost functionality where you tap it and it immediately eats a chunk of the engine capacitor.
I suggest a boost that you hold the button for that slowly burns the capacitor but only has 50% thrust effectiveness of normal boost while also generating 50% heat of a normal boost.
it might be a niche thing to add considering that you can permaboost with G5 distributors and 4 pips to eng anyways but it would be a nice option to have over normal boosting to make longer "sprints" more efficiently especially for people that may not have an engineered distributor, or a ship with poor thermals.
