Elite / Frontier Slow Reflexes

Hello,

Not so quick as I used to be.

In Elite the attackers zoom past far too quick - is there a way to slow down the game play a little - so I can get at least one shot in.

Your using Dos Box aren't you Old'un? You should be able to slow the game down by fiddling with the settings. Also you might want to try these front ends for Dos Box as it might be easier to play around with the emulation settings on your Mac.

Why don't you try Oolite? It's a great remake and can be used on the Mac too.

Have you downloaded the basic ?
do you know how to add the uxb's ?
For the real eye candy you need to add those

Unfortunately do not gave a clue what I need to do once downloaded - just get a long list of files.

If you downloaded from the link you should have received an Oolite.rar file

Right click and select extract files. It will extract the game to a folder in the same location...Go into the Oolite folder and simply run Oolite.exe ...then just run the game from the menu.....

Im assuming you have WinRAR installed ?

If not just install the demo version that will extract it fine ..
