SLV Launch from station

As I suspected, they didn't add the "launch from station" mode. I really can't believe they forgot their beloved Thunder Looper at Alton Towers :(:(:(

Also, we can't add more than 6 cars in SLV coaster [ugh]

I hope there's a chance of adding these features: [bored]
- Launch from station (fly wheel / weight drop)
- 1st version loop (https://www.coaster101.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/01/New-Revolution-2.jpg)
- Cross tie track (https://rcdb.com/aaappka)
- More than 6 cars per train

That's annoying, I was hoping for Station Launch mode and 7 car trains (at least). Perhaps they'll bring another model out which features FlyWheel and Weightdrop launch pieces.

Thanks for the suggestion!

I'm going to move this to the Suggestions and Ideas forum.

The duplicate thread with the same suggestion will be deleted.

please frontier we need a legit shuttle coaster like mr freeze , batman vs robin, moontazooma revenge these all feature a launch in the beginning of the ride , idk what ride you guys model the slv after but most have launches as welll as chai . lifts

There is also one in Walibi Belgium, altough the flywheel has been changed to a LIM by Gerstlauer in 2013, called Psyké Underground.(Formely known as Sirocco and Turbine). Also has 7 cars.

+1 on this from me as well. I was looking forward to making a Shuttle Looper coaster. Not having the flywheel launch just isn't realistic. One of the coasters I know that does this was the former Greezed Lightning at Kentucky Kingdom. was hoping to recreate the SHuttle Loop coasters of these types. Are there any of them that goes forward.. then backwards then forward again like this from Schwarzkopf

Just turn the train backwards like this:

I'm kidding...of course....

I second this motion.

As much as I love this pack and I think it was a much needed addition to Planco, I'm seriously sick and tired of this stuff. I'm tired of the half baked promises, I'm tired of not being able to make realistic coasters the way they would operate in real life.

Sam Denney, if you are reading this. I have a few questions for you. Can you give me a good reason why NOT to include a standard catapult launch on Schwarzkopf looper? Can you give me a good reason as to why we can't swap cars on the Schwarzkopf or the Mack coaster? or put the Mack and Schwarzkopf cars on Barghest or Crazy One? Why are you dragging your fans along like this?

I'm seriously on the verge of going back to RCT3.

Maybe it's not possible to do that.

It looks like a Schwarzkopf, but it's a SLV.

"No similarity to actual rides is intended or should be inferred"

Why shouldn´t it be possible? Speed is just a variable.

Coding.....?

Track segments that can't work together in that way?

The suggestion is fine. Nothing wrong with that.

It's more like we should not be saying:
"A Schwarzkopf can do this and that, and the SLV can't. It's no Schwarzkopf this way!"

Remember that it's only primarily meant to look like a Schwarzkopf.
As are all of the other rides.

Don't tell me it's because of coding. Everything is possible if you know how to code. Just look what you can do at No limits 2. Look what they have done with Skies (and there's no other ride that behaves like this in the game).

And then you'll come with "but no limits it's a simulation and planco is a game" and bla bla bla. We know developers choose the easiest way, just look at the boomerang and log flume lift pieces.

Also in No Limits "No similarity to actual rides is intended or should be inferred", if you look closely just some couple coasters has its manufacturer's names, and they are pretty accurate with the others.

"It's coding, it's meant to look like". These arguments looks shallow to me. It just plays back what developers says.

Sorry, but I'm with tricktrack and fraroc.

Please be respectful to each other :)

Also be aware that while things may be possible there is almost always a reason things have not been done a certain way. Time/return tradeoff
