SLV Launch from station

Please be respectful to each other :)

Also be aware that while things may be possible there is almost always a reason things have not been done a certain way. Time/return tradeoff

With all respect: Time/return tradeoff should NOT be an issue when you put a ride into a paid DLC!
The "SLV" is just one of the most iconic coasters on the planet. The Shuttle-Loop was such a groundbreaking ride as it was the very first launched coaster.
It´s a bit special that it took 2 years for it to appear in the game and as a paying customer I find it a bit annyoing to think that the ride is not offering all aspects that it should.
If -for what ever reason- launching out of the station doesn´t work, then it would be no problem to use the launch directly after the station. But NOT offering a straight launch is just not very nice.

Don't get me wrong, I love Planco. To me, Planco is the true Roller Coaster Tycoon 4.

However, one thing that I cannot wrap my mind around are how some coasters in this game are so customizable, yet these new coasters in the magnificent rides pack have these absolutely stupid limitations, such as no swappable cars, no forwards launch for the SLV (only the Weiner Looping type of launch). The whole thing with the SLV seems like such bait and switch.

Would love to see a fly wheel launch section added. Definetely a needed feature, although the SLV is easily the best coaster type in the game at current.

I was a bit surprised we didn't get a classic launch, but maybe in time? (Note: there were 2 launches on those original shuttle loops: the weight-drop and fly-wheel. The 1978 fly-wheel version is more popular with enthusiasts as it accelerates faster, but the 1977 weight-drop launch gives the important tummy tickle absent on the 1978 version!)

Along with that, it would be nice to have other classic-ness for the SLV: headrest-free trains, classic zig-zag track ties (1976) and box (1978) track. The first version speed racer/looper train with flat/pointed front car (Gebirgsbahn/Revolution/Looping Star, etc.); speed racer and jumbo jet style coasters... the various Jumbo/City Jets and Wildcats. Oh, and vertical reverse points that can go up to 70 degrees; it seems the current drive tire spikes only go to 60. Original train "boxie" boogies...

Maybe we could get a full "SLV Suite" eventually. I would pay good money for that.

And as always - the ability to have different trains as different colors [big grin]

All this stuff takes loads of time and money. If people want it and are willing to pay for it, I'm sure it will all happen.

Loving what we have so far! Good job Frontier.
