So it occured to me just how many people rely on the supposed "meta" of the SCB ridden trash that is the FDL.

I'd like to see who uses a little more flair and skill to kill thier targets, not to mention which ships you guys use in the small class to cause some serious hurt.

IMO the small ships are by far the most fun, and by far the most rewarding to "Git Gud" with. 100% the big ships are early game ships and the little ones are for the late gamers.


My preffered small ship to go and PvP in is by far the Viper IV as it has FAS levels of tank (for its class), potentially the most disproportionate FAO manuverability buff and seldom ever looses a rambattle (if someone is dumb enough to try it). Beast of a ship!

Absolutely. Tonight I had a full evening of PvP with my org mate, and about half the time we fooled around with unengineered Viper Mk4. It's great fun, especially with fixed kinetics, and the rebuy cost is so minimal that even when you win you end up self-destructing to make it back to the station quicker.

I've tried flying other ships, and man that Viper Mk I've nearly clicked!

No, Cobra Mk III is the only way to go for me.

Had a great PvP encounter on Thursday. Short, but thrilling. It was actually against a fellow Cobra pilot, at the CG. I managed to get his shields down but wasn't able to knock out his Hull. Only 4% taken off. When he took my shields down, I was out. Wasn't going to find out how he engineered his frags'!

I personally love it. There's nothing better than mugging a player in an Anaconda who's calling you a 'noob' and various other name calling in an Adder and then going on ED Social Media to read their crying about how you griefed them.

My preferred favourite play was having a wing of 4 Eagles with 2x reverb cascade torpedoes each and letting rip in one glorious volley, before finishing off with your multi-cannon.
