Small animals pack

Sorry if the title is a bit weird.

I've been playing this game since launch and throughout my time I have noticed that I miss smaller animals. You could say "filler" animals such as pangolins and aardvarks. I have noticed that I put them into almost every zoo I built. They usually don't require much space and you can make cute habitats for them! :) (though this could just be personal, I have trouble making big enclosures).

What I have in mind are animals like platypus, fennec fox, tasmanian devil, echidna, wolverine, hedgehog, armadillo, beaver, etc.

I also wish for a feline pack, but that's really just me, I wish we'd have more cats, big or small, I love them all. ;)

Oh yes, would love to see more smaller animals. I was really glad that we got koala in Australia pack. More would be welcome.

I think we have quite a few big cats for now, would like to see a smaller species such as lynx or ocelot, but other than that I would prefer different types of animals for now. People complained that we got yet another canine, yet there is still more cats in game atm than dogs.

Absolutely want some smaller animals as well. We do have a few - the lemurs, koala, the capuchian monkey, pangolins and red pandas, but the next smallest after that I think are the aardvarks and african wild dogs. There's a lot of really great smaller animal choices out there. I'm hoping to see more and when they do, I really hope they are habitat animals not exhibit animals. I desperately want meerkats in the game but if they end up being in the exhibit system I may cry.

Same here, I think atm we got a nice selection of big cats but like to see 1 or 2 in a future DLC.
Smaller feline species would work for me.

I think the Meerkats/Yellow Mongoose/Prairie Dogs/Asian Small-clawed otters/Capybara would be great to add.
When I visit a RL zoo - i tend to stick with the smaller animals.
I'm a big supporter of having animals with smaller habitat needs.
(Btw, ignoring several monkey species for this topic - most of them are small but would fit more in a primate thread)

The meerkat is an animal the game desperately needs, and of course an otter (preferably the Asian small-clawed otter). Not even necessarily in terms of 'space-filling' (though that is a good reason), but because a lot of these animals are fixtures of real zoos. Many people in the past have pointed out that smaller animals might not "work" due to their size in comparison to the game environment, but I don't see how this would be a problem. For one thing, a meerkat (as the best example) would be similar in size to the baby pangolin or lemur, and both of those work just fine. For another thing, Frontier added the tiny compsognathus to Jurassic World Evolution without any drama, and that is a game that exists on a much, much larger scale than Planet Zoo, so it shows that they're capable of it.

I'm really holding my breath for the meerkat especially. I was desperately hoping for the Tasmanian devil in the Australia Pack and was left disappointed, however, so I try not to get my hopes up too high.

Not entirely about the animals, but an exhibition pack might be interesting as well, potentially with setups for things to make larger exhibit galleries easier
