Small dinosaur Petting Zoos

With the reveal of JWE2's gameplay footage, we now know how some of the sequel's gameplay mechanics work. One of these mechanics that was of particular interest was how the aviaries and lagoons can be constructed and customised, where they start off as basic circular sections before additional sections are added on to make them larger and, if players wish, unusually shaped.

As one of the most iconic attractions shown in the 2015 film, being able to construct our very own dinosaur petting zoo for our parks would be a wonderful addition to JWE2. And I believe a construction mechanic similar to aviaries and lagoons would be the most viable way for petting zoos to be included for the sequel.

Below is a list of dinosaurs that I personally believe would be ideal attractions for a petting zoo and a list of enclosure features that can be used to make a petting zoo, based on the aviaries and lagoons:

Petting Zoo Section

Based on the Gentle Giants Petting Zoo in the film.

An environment suitable for small dinosaurs.

Petting Zoo Feeder

Based on the vending device seen on the park website and in the film.

Along with the natural vegetation, small dinosaurs will also feed on food that visitors give to the dinosaurs. An excellent opportunity to make a little bit of money!

Petting Zoo Viewing Stand

Based on the small set of steps that Gray used to take pictures on in the film.

Petting Zoo Dinosaurs

Bellusaurus
Hypsilophodon
Lesothosaurus
Microceratus
Minmi
Mussaurus
Nanosaurus
Nigersaurus
Nipponosaurus
Protoceratops
Psittacosaurus
Turanoceratops

In JW's Gental Giants attraction there were only 3 species, Triceratops, Gallimimus, and Brachiasaurus, all juveniles.

Now we know that Frontier has stated that there will be no juvenile dinosaurs in JWE2.

What I propose is to make the GGPZ an attraction like an aviairy, aquatics tank, or even the raptor pen, but with hard coded animation of those 3 species as juveniles. No player interaction required except to open/close attraction and set pricing for tric ride. No player ability to hatch juveniles required. Juvenile dinos still not added to gameplay. No need for additional buildings as it's an animated set piece.

In JWE, to simulate the GGPZ, I used, Struths, Hypsys, and Psitts. Which could still be done in JWE2.

At launch with the base game there will be no juveniles, but that doesn't mean they can't come in the future

Wait what are the last two

Hypsilophodon and Psittacosaurus, modded species.

Herbivores up to a certain size seems like a decent way to do it, assuming juveniles are completely off the table. (Juvenile humans certainly look like they're off the table)

Something closer to a viewing building/feeder hybrid is how I imagine it would go, lowering the dino comfort when using it.
