Small Hands with the Rift?

I've heard complaints about the scale being off with the Vive and "your" body looking tiny. I never thought this was a problem with the Rift. I hadn't played anything for a couple months, and now when I look at "my" hands and fingers they look like a child's. Did something change, or am I just not remembering things correctly? I don't usually spend much time looking inside the cockpit so it's not really that big of a deal - I'm just curious.

It's always been off for either.
More so for the vive than the rift, but the rift is far from unaffected.

It also for some reason seem to vary between cockpit to cockpit.

Using mumticrew and vr I have stood right next to a crew man on the corvette and they seem to be about the size of a 12 year old child.

On the fdl they seem almost 1.8m.
