Small maps to make a management park

Do we have 62 species of animals and small maps to just keep a small part of species?
I have already created enough parks so that I can only have very few of them and more to count the buildings in them, I do not like to make such tiny enclosures to have more dinos on a single map, it is something unsatisfactory to see and more because it cannot be created a park at ease with the limits we have.
This game has been on the market for a long time and they haven't been able to get a decent map? stop putting more dinos if we can't have them even half of them

Soooooo true!!!

A decent map, preferably a whole island, is a big must! +10000

Why should making a park be easy? There's no problem with the map sizes. Just gotta be creative.

How exactly can you be creative with so little options and the exact very same tiny map?

In no way map sizes are good. Maybe they are fine for campaign and challenge mode, but a true sandbox needs far bigger maps with far more landscapes and landscaping tools. The current ones are the shame of the gender.

Bestinslot made a park with all the dinosaur species a few months ago (minus Claire's Sanctuary) and he did it. Half the island wasn't used.

And it looked cluttered and horrible. Anyway, keep adding species at this rate with no other options in any other field and soon you'll nees the other half of the island...

Limitations breed creativity. There's no creativity in unlimited resources.

What I do...

I don';t try and squeeze everything into 1 island, even sandbox isnt big enough for that.

My quest recently was to use every dinosaur on all the islands, i.e the campaign islands. And have each island as a theme. Pretend that you travel to each Island as part of a tour.

So;

Matanceros was my Jurassic Park, all the Jurassic and the one Triassic Dino there. 16 Species in all.

Meurta was my Beach front park, using Dino's that like water exhibits. 9 Species were shoehorned in there.

Meurta East was my desert park. Creatures from the Arid climates live here. 12 Species.

Isla Sorna was my Forrest park. 11 species there.

Isla Tacano was my swamp park. 10 Species in there.

Pena will be a mountain park, but I used all the species, so ill duplicate some to live here.

All the exhibits on each island were crafted to be one of the above habitats, using the latest tools.

I should show them off one day.

This game isn't a PC exclusive. The limitations are caused by the game also being on consoles.

At this point in time it's take it or leave it. The game has been out a year now. No major changes will happen, especially not whole islands. Consoles simply can't render that much.

You aren't supposed to cram every Dinosaur in the game onto one small buildable location. Pick a few and build your park.

Although larger maps would be nice what would really help is more options for buildings and such. For instance the platforms for monorails are HUGE and in order to use it you have to place at least two down. Then every single island is going to need multiple hotels which are also huge making it hard to place with the very limited space we have. If we had other options like the JT/gyros for transportation which have very small buildings that would be huge help. Then for other buildings like the hotels or even restraunts we could really use smaller options like bungalows, kiosks and such.

I'm not against larger maps, however, having a park with every single species is itself an end-user self-imposed challenge. It is not an inherent goal of any park. Name a single zoo anywhere in the world that houses every species of animal, even just mammals: you can't. Too many dinosaurs is a good thing, and considering the natural range of these creatures, ultimately even a 1-to-1 recreation of these islands will still feel too small. Remember, the original Jurassic Park itself only had 15 different species on display - no more than 20-25 in the entire archipelago if you inlcude Site B- and Jurassic World had 18 or so not including the mosa, pterasaurs, and the I-Rex. You currently have 62 to choose from even without aquatic and avian reptiles.

Gee, thanks, I didn't notice one could have a not-full-roaster Park... FYI, I don't give a damn anyway about half the available species, but there are people who do like to have more than 15, you know.

Anyway, map size is ridiculous also for buildings and landscaping tools, not to mention there are less than half a dozen options available (one, if you only enjoy Sandbox, which is also and precisely the opposite to the definition of Sandbox).

Let's say you want to build a Sandbox map beach-based, yeah we have sand now on Nublar, so what? What sense does it make to place sand and water everywhere on a map which by all means is actually an inland valley? Or what if one would like to make a hill/cliff wide area? Nublar is already uneaven enough, but place a few bumps and hills and you'll be lucky to place more than two hotels.

Jokes aside, map size in JWE is the greatest disappointment of all and should be fixed. Console limitations shouldn't affect PC players either; the whole islands could have been made buildable, map bounds placed based on processing capacity.

So you say. But limitations also limit outcome possibilities, thus the thousand parks that look the same currently.

I've seen numerous parks which are gorgeous and doesn't look like anything else. It's just about being creative... If you just place stuff random, yeah you will not have a beautiful park of course.

2 hotels? Just even out the entire landscape and you'll fix that problem.

the terrain tools arent very forgiving when placing buildings. in order to place down ANY building that isnt a path or fencing you have to flatten out huge areas and even then it might not let you place the building. then if you want another building next to it you basically end up flattening everything. same goes for placing water since it basically works as a flattening tool. the amount of space required between slopes of pools/buildings at different elevations is very large so ontop of already having big buildings for small maps said buildings require a lot of space outside their own placement if you are going to have any kind of slopes around them. all of this leads to severely crippling the creativity of the user since there isnt enough space to use the finicky terrain tools or place the huge buildings.

So, if I want to make a Park full of hills do I have to flatten everything? Did you read at all or are you simply trolling?

This precisely.

Anyway, the available options in regards to buildings and all the limitation around them (even around rocks, trees and all that new stuff) just add to the whole of the problem. I doubt any more building options would solve the issue such tiny maps present, but the building system also needs a huge overhaul.

If you want to torment your visitors, sure. But you can just keep the parts with buildings flat. The roads look ridiculous if they are not flat anyway...
