Small ship Thargoid Scout build

I'm currently looking at ways when I can next pick up and play to outfit the MV Earnest, my beloved trusty Adder, for scout killing.

I'm assuming prismatics and shield boosters are a must, same goes for hull reinforcement packs to buff my HP pools, as without guardian grinding, there are no resistance buffs against their corrosive damage thing.

Now my issue comes to weapons. Would it be safe to say an engineered, all short range modded fixed multicannon build (with enforcer cannons to mitigate the lack of damage that small hardpoints offer) would be the way to go? What sort of effect should I apply to them?

Finally, if I was to upgrade my plan to use say a FDS, do the AX multicannon weapons offer any real advantage over g5 multis?
 
The AXI Adder build is more suitable for interceptors then to use it against scouts. And you need to be a pretty good pilot also...

If I want to clear scouts fast and pile up kills in AXCZs or in NHSS to properly help defend a system infestation/incursion, I would go for the FDS: Best shields and armour you can carry, 4 AX Multi-Cannons (Turreted or not - your preference here), 1 decontamination limpet controller, limpets of course, and a Xeno-scanner if you fancy seeing how much damage you do to them.
The AX Multis do more damage against scouts then a G5 modded conventional Multi.

I would recommend AX/Guardian weapons.

Dunno about the Adder, but the FDS and FAS make excellent Scout bashers.

I use Imperial Eagle for this purpose. Two small Gauss cannons, and a Flak launcher for the medium or whatever. Just build it from some spare parts and Guardian modules. I don't know what prismatic shields are, they don't sell those around here.

It's not the most efficient build for popping some Thargoid pods, or a very sensible choice, but it is very entertaining. You can almost smell the ammonia.

Cheers for that. I'm surprised AX weapons are more effective than G5 engineered ones for scout killing.
