Not sure if any of these have been suggested before, but here is a few small things I've noticed while I've been out exploring in the black.
1. On the info-panel when a planet is selected, place a 'mapped' / 'unmapped' tag to show if I've mapped the planet without having to open the system map
2. Following on from #1 - in the navigation panel have a different icon (or make it blue) to indicate a planet I've mapped so I can quickly get an overview
3. Following on from #2 - Add two filters to the navigation panel: 'Mapped bodies []', 'Unmapped Bodies []' so I can filter the system by what I need to map etc.
4. After fully mapping a planet remove the blue overlay so I can see the planet in all it's glory without having to switch to combat mode. I will know I've mapped it due to the above suggestions.
5. In the galaxy map - under route planning. When I plan a route, show how many jumps it is here - so I don't have to come out of the map and check the navigation panel (Unless it's there and I'm just being dumb and not spotting it?)
6. In the system map, when I focus on a planet I have scanned with my FSS, if the planet has surface signals show the details here [Geological (24)] etc. If I have mapped the planet, show POI markers on the planet and allow me to select it as my destination.
7. Have my srv remember my last 'drive assist' setting.
8. When creating a bookmark on the Galaxy map - allow me to edit the name there and then, without having to find it in the side panel to then click 'edit'
9. While were at it - allow me to colour code my bookmarks
10. Which leads to allowing me to filter my bookmarks by colour (category)
11. ... Search bookmarks?
These are just a few that I though of during my last exploration trip - please let me know if you can already do any of these and I'm just being thick.
