This method is fairly grindy, but works well for me.
Within the animal trade market set the price to only Conservation credits and between 0-200.
Then keep spamming the appeal button refreshing to see the highest appeal animals with a price under 200 credits.
A lot of people list high ticket items such as Lions, elephants etc. for way under their actual value. Doing this technique I believe gives you the easiest chance to spot these bargains and snap them up.
This technique is fairly boring but if you'd like to have some of them high ticket items in your zoo doing this technique for about an hour or so should work, I've done this trick for about 30 minutes last night and went from 100cc to 1800cc with a new pride for 12 lions that I didn't sell from this method, I do find the west african lions to be the most common, but from the screenshots you can see i've gotten Golden appeal lions for 1-200cc which when released to the wild typically give 450-550cc
