The idea is to have smaller versions of some of the existing management providence guest building types in-game (Food, Drink, Fun, and Shopping). I'd imagine their space take up would be in similar size as the restrooms or maybe even a little smaller. Reason for this is because I think it would be a great way to not only add building variety, but also to provide a special way to make up space for more stuff you might plan to have for your parks, and the current buildings can take up a lot of space, especially for the JW era. The Jurassic World era I think is the only setting I can think of that would be applicable for this because, for the Jurassic Park era, you don't really need a lot of guest providence space for that setting as, unlike in the JW setting, the JP setting's primary management focus is dino viability (with a big emphasis on it) rather than everything else.
To balance things out, I believe they could either be introduced in later maps on the main campaign, or they can be DLC map exclusive. For management providence, maybe they would have less of a primary providence than some of the existing buildings to some degree?
The reason why I think they would be in size similarities as the restrooms, or maybe even a bit smaller, is because they won't be just the buildings themselves, but there would also be some miscellaneous details surrounding them like (just like almost every other existing guest building in the game). For example, benches would be around fun type structures, tables with umbrellas would around food type kiosks, and there would be multiple shelves around small shopping type huts.
Shopping carts would be good to, as they can take up extra less space. However, I'm not sure how they could be implemented to feel dynamic currently, if that element were be decided, as the guest entities don't really have a whole lot of those kinds of interactions.
