I'm playing on a low end (ish) laptop, an i5, with an nvidia 540m 2gb graphics card and I've been playing on lowest graphics settings and no music since beta to be able to avoid the stuttering around planets, stars and stations. Oh, and when firing my gimaballed weapons too.
Since this update this has improved massively, still not perfect, but it's made it a different game for me now being able to fly into combat zones and have a smooth flight, to be able to race into stations with my illegal goods has made it incredible fun now.
There's not too much point to this thread other than to say well done to the devs for sorting out these problems and, hopefully, is a good sign for all of us who've bought the game meeting the advertised minimum system requirements and not been able to play it properly.
Oh, and I'm starting to see now how the game is going to fill out content wise too, it looks like it might just be worth the wait. There's many negative comments and the forum and, not gonna lie, I've put a few out there since the game got up and running but, credit where it's due, it's looking good for the future.
Right on, commanders.
