Smooth Permaboost

Suggesting a way to boost smoothly. Once active, it would run at the average speed of permaboosting. Or it could ramp up - start slowly and eventually exceed that average speed.

You could toggle it or make it active while holding a button (much like you can a cargo scoop).

It would be inferior in combat, but i've wanted something like this while doing many other activities. Trading, mining, racing, passenger transport, planetary parkour and dead Titan salvage.

Just a sub-light SCO, massive heat, maybe wonky control, but zooooom

A few moments of throttle off followed by a serious ramp up in speed sounds really fun. ...As long as it's not much faster than normal permaboosting. If it's too fast, it would be too useful in PvP (reset your bad positinoing). Unless it's also inhibited by mass locks. But that would make it unusable near stations.

If implemented this way, don't make it mass-lock. Sounds too fun for parkour and racing.

Edit: Another balancing idea is to make the distributor draw ramp up with speed, up to a cap. Very few ships would be able to reach this without maxed out engineering. Even with an undersized engine.
