Since quite some time now (unless servers are wonky...) I experience pretty smooth transitions from SC/OC to normal flight or when jumping. It's almost seamless. Maybe a few ms. I remember how it used to be when we were stuck 5-10 seconds until the game moved on. So I'd say good job on that part server team, you certainly fixed some stuff!
It would be nice if multicrew would actually work reliable as well, but seeing how much transitions have been improved I am sure we'll eventually get there (even though I don't care about multicrew
