Smuggling to an outpost

I'm interested in a well-paying mission to take goods from a starport to an outpost, and the goods are prohibited at both ends.

I'm confident that I can escape a scan as I leave the starport.

Wondering what will happen at the outpost as I manoeuvre to land there? Will it open fire on me? Or will I just get a fine - if so, what kind of size will it be?

The patrol ships at Outposts simply are an urban legend, there is no police scanning you.
Overall the LEOs (Law Enforcement Officers) are mostly harmless, blind and oblivious,
they prefer to attack players, that have assisted them in combat, but hit them once with a stray shot.
Capitalism at it's best...

If it's a military outpost you may get scanned. If it isn't you almost certainly won't.

Sorry, I hope you don't mind me correcting you. Not true. Military out post are patrolled and the can scan you on the platform so enter the hangar right away.

I stand corrected then, not seeing why any smuggling mission would have you smuggle to the military though,
never have seen such an outpuost before, must have been my implemented survival instinct.

All cool Sir You can smuggle withOUT it being a mission and yes there are smuggling and black box, military plans, stolen cargo and black op missions at military out posts. I like to shift goods and bads.
