Set off on my smuggling missions, I get one run a night, as they take me at least 2hrs from start to finish, and that's pretty much all my game time/day.
14 jumps to my first destination, check. Boost out of the station, go go go, yes i see you CMDR in the Conda, are you scanning people as they leave?
3 jumps in, first pirate text comes in, np, line up with my Asp's tail at the sun.
Doesn't work, interdicted within scooping distance of the sun. prepare heat sinks, prepare to run.
Pirate behind me, hmm, a Clipper, this may be painful, boost.
What the Hell is that? 2nd pirate Clipper appears in front, collision course! Evade, we skim shields.
7 seconds into the interdiction, chaff, boost, chaff. Shields gone, hull damage, what are these guys using?
Bail out, argh next jump is obscured, choose another from left panel, nope obscured as well, 3rd time's the charm, this one in line of sight.
Phew, 56% remaining, that was close.
Re-plot course to delivery.
2 jumps later, another interdiction that was not blocked by the sun. Fight, nope not winning, submit, nope too much fight, the game registers failed interdiciton, have to wait for long FSD cooldown.
Vulture awaits, boost, boost, wait for capacitor. Shields gone, hull compromised, again, what is the NPC firing?
Canopy cracking, I await my death, resigned to the fact I'll see the insurance screen for the first time in months.
Might as well keep boosting, hull at 10%.
Wait, what's this? Damage is slowing, what's going on? The Vulture is losing ground, how is this possible, the Vulture should be outrunning me.
Hope creeps in, fire up FSD, drop heat sink, boost, how is this possible, am I going to survive?
I'm out!
5 more jumps before I see a system with a station, head in for repairs, who cares if i get scanned.
6% hull canopy held together with my spit and grit.
I was very unlucky, and lucky too.
I might go back to using the python, yes it doubles the jumps, but I can fight back.
