Snap Blueprint to Existing Grid?

So, I've searched the forums and haven't found an answer to this, but 1) is there a way to "snap" an entire blueprint to an existing grid, and 2) if not, does anyone know if a Dev or someone has mentioned that it is in the works?

Building incredibly large structures is very difficult, and I'm not incentivized to start in alpha because I can't guarantee that the buildings I save in blueprints will be easily transferable to a new map (I'm assuming we are going to get blank sandbox maps that we can make as large as we want).

This problem persists despite the fact that they have mentioned increasing the piece count limit for blueprints beyond 1,000 pieces. It is oftentimes very necessary to create new structures and break away from an existing grid in order to make the structure look the way you want. So, you end up with multiple separate buildings, but if you save them individually as blueprints, you can't then place that blueprint in your park and "snap" it to an existing grid. Even the slightest imperfections in your rotations will cause buildings to eventually be lopsided/uneven. I really hope this is something they are working on....

One solution would be to allow you to alter pieces on an existing grid so that they do not align with the grid--aka, using the "advanced" move features while still constructing on the grid itself. Combine that with a 5000+ piece limit blueprint, and it would solve many problems...

....also why can't we freaking rotate roof and wall pieces to the same extent we can rotate scenery >_>

I'm glad I'm not the only one who hopes for this. I'm Building a Medieval town with a big wall around it. It's three meters high and uses lots of different wall pieces. I'd love to be able to build one 4m section and select all of that, then use the existing built wall as a grid to place the sections perfectly. This game is so good in so many ways and I really hope this is something Frontier add in later versions to make it even better.

I have suggested an optional park-wide grid before. Especially for those of us with OCD it's very handy if you can just toggle a park wide grid on/off like the old rct games. This would be easy if you have multiple big blueprints and you want to snap them onto eachother
