Sneak Preview of The Ending Of The Year Of Beyond

I've tried to make a correlation between current events around this place and that movie ending, and I can't cogitate a fit.

By the end of this season, the only positive outcome I can hope for is the following regarding the holder of the sock puppet.

Market Garden was supposed to end the war by Christmas. Frontier is wholly concentrated on getting Beyond out the door by the holidays.

Monty had a Space Loach, too. Possibly the same one, as they are very long lived.

Look at the expression in Sean Connery's eyes, looking at General Browning, who had covered up the presence of Panzers near Arnhem.

The Allies were done in Europe for that year- until the Battle of the Bulge in December. Many of the shredded units from Market Garden were stationed in the Ardennes. One US unit managed to hold out at Bastogne.

Remind you of persons reporting bugs, and being ignored? We've had to hold out, against all of Beige Squadron.

Remind you of prima donnas, who never learn, after being repeatedly warned? Monty was never sacked.

No pattern here at all...

Yeah.. fair enough. Bigger picture etc.

Really does make me consider the difference between incompetence and willful ignorance.

Current state of affairs strikes me as an informed decision made by our "betters" despite conflicting intel from boots on the ground. ( test server feedback.)

So, yeah. In that context, it fits.

Heh!! Ok. You made me lol. For reals. But 1 hour doesn't do it justice ;)

+1

Needs four thousand hours for me.

One of my uncles helped take Nijmegen Bridge. Another was at Bastogne. My dad went through Pusan hand-to-hand. All Airborne. I'm Air Force. I suck. :(

The wounded British paras singing "Abide With Me", are Frontiers staff, watching the "redundancy notices" surrounding them.

The civilian family led by Laurence Olivier, are the Kickstarter backers, and LEP holders.
