It could happen in the evening, and you may need time to download it. It's only beta however so you need at least beta acces which isnt available since last year November ~22nd.
With my luck i wont be able to test it before tomorrow.

But now you can complete you dissertation and reward yourself with more time to play once 1.3 comes out of Beta

Crack on with the dissertation. Elite will still be here tomorrow after you hand it in, probably will be 1.3.5 by then, and stable.

You do not need a masters degree to play elite, so you do not need a masters degree

The big question is:

1) Have you started the dissertation yet?

1 a) If Yes, crack on with it and get it finished. The inital day or so usually has lots of performance problems and extended download times anyway.

1 b) if No, then there's no time to save it anyway. Keep Firing, Commander!
