How are Aliens going to seem, to FEEL alien, in a galaxy full of pictures and text? When you can't even interact with humans, how can you add aliens?

Either Aliens end up as yet MORE pew pew - oh look, a different texture on pirates - or worse, they are given some new, deeper interaction type that borders on social. In which case, they end up feeling MORE human, than the humans in the galaxy.

Either way, aliens now would be bad. Fix your game. Add the tools and depth non combat roles need. Slow the alien roll until you have some meaningful method with which to differentiate them from humans.

Elite has been crying out for Thargoids since the beginning. Let's not forget they were a major part of the Elite franchise since the first version of the game back on the BBC. This game really needs them, a universe of just humans is wrong in every single way. There is no way we are the only form of life in the universe and anyone who thinks that is a nutcase. Therefore if the Thargoids are coming, which seems to be the case, it cannot happen quick enough, in fact i'd venture to say we need more alien races to balance out nature a little bit
